Terms of Use

Version 3.0, dated August 2016

This website is provided by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG and Boehringer Ingelheim Limited (hereinafter “Boehringer Ingelheim”, “we”, “us” or), a member of the Boehringer Ingelheim group of companies. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 00711858 and have our registered office (and main trading address) at Ellesfield Avenue, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 8YS.   Our VAT number is 200356126.

When participating in ICE, you must comply with the following rules:
 

1. Addressees

1.1. According to English law, information concerning pharmaceuticals which are only available on prescription may only be disclosed to health care professionals. We therefore require your registration before you can access certain websites.

1.2. The content of our website exclusively refers to the market approval of the respective pharmaceuticals in the United Kingdom. Market approvals for the same/similar pharmaceuticals may vary in other countries. If you visit our website from outside of the UK, please ALWAYS consider the market approval and product information valid in your country. This website is only intended for the use by health care professionals.

1.4. This website is not intended as a method of reporting adverse events or product complaints for any Boehringer Ingelheim product. Please report these adverse events or product complaints to Pharmacovigilance by calling 0800 328 1627 (UK).

2. Content

2.1. All content provided on and via this website or per other communication by us is the property of or licensed to the Boehringer Ingelheim group of companies and is protected by copyright. 9.1.2.13. Give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case.

10. Suspension and Termination

10.1. We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this policy through your use of our website. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

10.2. Failure to comply with this policy constitutes a material breach of the terms of use  and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

10.2.1. Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our website.

10.2.2. Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our website.

10.2.3. Issue of a warning to you.

10.2.4. Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.

10.2.5. Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.

11.2. The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our website (although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country).

11.3. We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.
